March for the Ocean (M40) - Santa Cruz

Be a part of the community to save our shores and make a sign to celebrate your ocean or to protest its greatest threats. Join Save Our Shores, wear blue, and march for the ocean on Saturday, June 8, 2019.

M4O – Santa Cruz is one of hundreds of marches, rallies, and flotillas planned nationwide to celebration of World Oceans Day!

Meet at the Lighthouse Field at 3:00 pm and begin the march along West Cliff Drive at 3:30 pm.

Together, Save our Shores will arrive at Cowell Beach at 4:00 pm where we’ll create a human chain — highlighting where future sea-level rise will be on the beach. The festivities will be rounded out with culminating speeches on the beach.
