Living Writers Series 2017: Beyond the Wall

The Living Writers Series is a weekly production from the UC Santa Cruz Creative Writing Program, featuring artists, poets, and authors who present and talk about their respective works. This year's series delves into the notions of war, refuge, and home, featuring works by Michael Arcega, Ngugi wa Thiong'o, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Sesshu Foster, Toni Jensen, Dorianne Laux, James Janko, Ellen Greenblatt, and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Renee Tajima-Peña.
