About Labor History For Working People through film

"Love and Solidarity" is a newly released film about Reverend James M. Lawson, a veteran of the civil rights movement and social justice leader. This film is the story of his commitment to the value and dignity of work, nonviolence and to labor. Selections from "Golden Lands, Working Hands" show the early history of working people in California. Fred Glass, Communications Director for the California Federation of Teachers will speak. These films will provide a quick education about the history, nature and conditions of paid work.
