Kendrick Scott Oracle

A longtime band-mate of Terrence Blanchard and Kurt Elling, Kendrick Scott is regarded as a premier drummer of his generation and was named by The New York Times as being one of “five drummers whose time is now.” Scott introduced his band, Oracle, with the 2006 release of The Source and they are now celebrating their fourth album, 2013’s Conviction. Featuring John Ellis (saxophone), Taylor Eigsti (piano), Joe Sanders (bass) and Mike Moreno (guitar), Kendrick Scott Oracle is a powerful modern jazz combo highlighting Scott’s propulsive rhythms and rich chordal themes.
