About Judgment at Nuremberg

Abby Mann's "Judgment at Nuremberg" was an Oscar-winning film starring Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster, Judy Garland, Marlene Dietrich, Maximillian Schell, Richard Widmark, Montgomery Clift, and William Shatner, before it was a play on Broadway. The play is a fictionalized account of the military trials of former Nazi judges. Its exploration of what caused the defendants and other Germans to do the evil that they did is frighteningly apt for the United States today. Now you can see it live on stage - two weekends left.
After the matinee performance on Sunday, April 24, the director and lead cast members, along with Rabbi Eli Cohen of congregation Chadeish Yameinu in Santa Cruz, will discuss with interested audience members the themes and events addressed in the play. All are welcome, even if you don't attend the performance. The performance begins at 2:00 pm and ends at 4:20 pm.
