John Kaizan Neptune brings to the shakuhachi (bamboo flute) a new and dynamic sound and feeling entirely his own. A California-born American, Neptune is acknowledged to be among the top masters of the instrument in Japan.

Come join John Kaizan Neptune, Bay Area musician and voice actor Robbie Belgrade, Oakland Native Koto Player Shirley Muramoto, Portland Percussionist and Educator Eien Hunter-Ishikawa and local Shamisen Legend Kyle Abbott as they bring their unique talents to the Kuumbwa stage.
