About Jenifer Armstrong, Pharmacist: "Parkinson's Disease: Inside and out of the prescription bottle"

Jenifer will focus on common interactions with both prescription and over-the- counter medications as well as diet recommendations to help optimize PD symptom control in all 'medicinal' corners. She will provide copies of the ADPA publication: "Medications To Be Avoided or Used With Caution In Parkinson's Disease." This is important information which every person with Parkinson's needs to know.

Jenifer is a practicing pharmacist in Northern California with more than 10 years of experience. She has worked in a wide spectrum of community settings, including large pharmacy retailers, small independent pharmacies, and a student health facility. Her duties have ranged from patient consultation, compounding, medication coordination for nursing facilities, community outreach of diabetic resources, as well as immunization programs, and overall pharmacy management.
A native of New England, she holds a Doctorate from the School of Pharmacy of the University of Rhode Island. When not immersed in the world of pharmacy, Jenifer likes to spend her free time exercising, playing soccer, reading, cooking and traveling.
