About Jazz on the Hill

Jazz on the Hill is a day-long free celebration happening on June 4th, 2016 from 11am to 6pm featuring live jazz with a great line-up of musicians who cover many genres of jazz from straight-ahead, blues, to Latin and more! Held on the campus of College of San Mateo, home of the Bay Area's only full-time jazz station: KCSM 91.1FM, this year's festival features headliner Charlie Musselwhite, along with Etienne Charles Creole Soul, and Lynne Arriale, Grace Kelly & Charenee Wade, the San Francisco Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble and the SFJazz High School All-Stars Combo.

The stage will be located on the lower mezzanine in front of the library steps, with seating along side the fountain and plenty of lawn seating...bring a picnic blanket, umbrella and come early to claim a spot!

You can grab a bite at the festival while browsing local artisans showcasing their wares, along with other organizations which will also have information about local businesses of interest.

Also at the event, enter for a chance to win one of 3 amazing gift baskets at KCSM's booth! Included in the gift basket are artist CDs; one 6 month membership to the San Mateo Athletic Club; KCSM swag; a gift certificate from B Street & Vine, wine and much more!
