Ice Cream Month & Coloring Contest

About Ice Cream Month & Coloring Contest
July is National Ice Cream Month, and Downtown Santa Cruz is the most delicious place to celebrate. Visit our participating ice cream spots, pick up a coloring sheet and let your imagination run (deliciously) wild. Return your completed coloring sheet to the Info Kiosk in front of New Leaf Community Markets by July 31 and enter to win Free Ice Cream for a Year!
Between July 1-31, visit one of our five Downtown Santa Cruz ice cream specialists - Cold Stone Creamery, Marini's Candies, Mission Hill Creamery, Pacific Cookie Company and the Penny Ice Creamery. Enjoy a cool treat and color away!
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see some of your featured masterpieces!
Post photos of your own ice cream treats and sheets on Instagram with the hashtag #downtownsantacruz
Winner of Free Ice Cream For a Year will be notified by email the first week of August
Here are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions that you may find helpful:
What if I eat ice cream somewhere other than the participating locations?
Ice cream is always a good decision, no matter where you are, but to be eligible for this drawing and prize you’ll have to visit one of these delicious ice cream stops to pick up your coloring sheet.
I’m lactose intolerant, or maybe just don’t like ice cream. What if I get some other treat at these locations? Does that count?
First of all, we’re so sorry for your ice cream loss. The rest of it is between you and the ice cream server behind the counter! Then again, why would you want Ice Cream for a Year anyway? Are you crazy?
What does Ice Cream for a Year look like?
Our Ice Cream for a Year prize will be comprised of 10 gift certificates for a scoop, from each of our 5 participating locations.
Why are you only giving away 50 gift certificates? That’s really two weeks shy of a full year of ice cream!
We’re thinking of your health. Consider leafy greens here and there. You’re welcome!
