Before Pumpkin, Nicholas Alvarado was NICK.the.NECK. In late 2004, after first discovering the Los Angeles underground, Nick bought a set of turntables and a mixer and spent countless hours mixing records in his bedroom. After spending close to a year honing his skills, he played his first set at Camp Mekka in Black Rock City, Burning Man 2005. While the majority of Nick's time is spent being Pumpkin (www.pumpkinsounds.com), he still has a serious passion for deep, dark, sexy house music.
