Free - Bacchus' BirchBark Blend Unveiling

Wine lovers and animal lovers, pack up your picnic basket and head to the beautiful redwood groves of Beauregard Vineyards to celebrate the unveiling of the Bacchus’ BirchBark Blend on Saturday, October 29th and Sunday the 30th from 12:00 – 3:00pm. Please join us to learn about the Foundation with BirchBark volunteers, sample some cheeses, and pick up your bottle of Bacchus' BirchBark Blend. This isn’t just any wine, but a new red blend specially made to help our four-legged friends in need. Ryan and Rachel Beauregard created this limited edition to honor their beloved dog, Bacchus. “He has been the winery’s mascot and has brought joy to so many visitors over the years,” said Ryan Beauregard, “I can’t imagine facing a decision to euthanize or surrender him if he had a curable illness and we didn’t have the funds for treatment.”

That’s why the Beauregards chose BirchBark Foundation to receive 100% of the proceeds from sales of Bacchus’ BirchBark Blend. BirchBark Foundation is the first of its kind in the Central Coast region. It is a nonprofit organization singularly dedicated to saving the lives of the pets that are already in loving homes. The foundation provides financial assistance grants to those who cannot pay for all or part of the care that their pet needs to survive a life-threatening injury or condition. Whereas other foundations can provide grants up to $100 or $200, BirchBark Foundation covers up to 75% of the costs of care. To date, BirchBark has saved over 125 beloved pets. 

Of course, the event will be weather dependent and rain may prevent us from picnicking. The run of the blend is limited to 300 bottles.
