First Friday: New Exhibition r.r. jones

Join us for an encore performance of brand new photographs by acclaimed photographer r.r. jones. The Kuumbwa Jazz house photographer for the past decade Jones captures stellar performances through his creative lens. Jones, considered part of the Kuumbwa experience by musicians, is often there to greet bands as they arrive, later scheduling a photo shoot for the performers next album. Originally known as a portrait photographer, Jones’ captivating global representations are displayed in permanent collections throughout the country. Ron will be exhibiting photographs of some of his favorite artists, in addition to signing his recent book Kuumbwa!, a collection of 200-glossy photos from the past decade.
