About Fifty on Freedom - 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

As the city of Santa Cruz celebrates its 150th anniversary, local Unitarian Universalists are also celebrating 150 years of liberal, progressive religion in Santa Cruz and 50 years at the UU Fellowship on Freedom Blvd in Aptos with a luncheon on Sunday, December 4. The Reverend Rosemary Bray McNatt, President of Starr King School for the Ministry (a Unitarian Universalist seminary), will be the keynote speaker on the topic of “Urgency and Hope”, and special guest California State Senate Majority Leader Senator Bill Monning (D-Carmel) will make introductory remarks. The luncheon is open to the public and the cost is $35.
