Doc Auto Rocks for CASA

Doc Auto, Santa Cruz's premier auto repair, service and maintenance facility, is hosting a special holiday benefit, Rock! for CASA.

Sponsored by Doc Auto and Heart of Technology, proceeds from the event will support CASA of Santa Cruz County. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), a local non-profit organization, empowers volunteers to provide advocacy, stability, and hope to children and youth in foster care who have been abused or neglected. Specifically, the event is raising funds to enable CASA to provide CASA teens with gift cards for the holiday season.

Event includes live music by the Aftershocks and Vista Roads Band. Libations will be provided by Seabright Brewery; and Woodstock’s Pizza and the Santa Cruz Diner will be providing some delicious nibbles. Proceeds from a silent auction at the event will also go to CASA.

Admission is a $10 cash donation at the gate, or a $10 gift card from a retailer frequented by teens – Target, Best Buy, Ross, Big 5, the Capitola Mall, Verve, Starbucks, Fantastic Sam’s, SuperCuts, movie tickets to local theatres. CASA representatives will be on hand to answer questions about CASA’s mission and how community members can volunteer to support children and youth in foster care.
