About Davenport's 26th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival

The Davenport Resource Service Center, a program of the Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County (CAB), Inc. will present its 26th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 from noon to 4pm. The admission-free event will take place at the Davenport Resource Service Center, 150 Church Street in Davenport, Ca.

Special entertainment highlights include Aztec dance performance by Grupo Ketzalli and Mariachi El Jaliciense. The event will also include traditionally-prepared Mexican food, art, activities for all ages, other live music and dance performances and displays of Mexican culture.

The event will host a silent auction, raffle and Drawing with grand price, a one week’s stay in Puerto Vallarta, México. Special items in silent auction will include beautiful local artwork, spa treatments, charter trips, and more.

The Davenport Cinco de Mayo Festival is a fundraiser to support the Davenport Resource Service Center programs for the area’s culturally diverse and low-income North Coast community. Programs include emergency and regular food distributions, summer and year-round recreation and enrichment programs for children and teens, afterschool homework tutoring, North Coast Teen Center, translation, information and referral services, health clinics, farmworker, senior, Veteran, and homeless services.
