Crow's Nest Holiday dance party with the STAMINA ALLSTARS

Longtime area reggae masters and Actual Music recording artists the Stamina Allstars will bring their classic roots rhythms and sweet vocal harmonies to the Crow's Nest on Friday, December 18th.

The Stamina crew are veterans of seminal Santa Cruz reggae ensembles the Rastafarians, Sugarbeats and Root Awakening, whose strong, authentic music helped lead to our town being nicknamed "Rasta Cruz" by touring reggae artists passing through our town. For the past several years these disciples of the foundation Jamaican beat have recorded original roots rhythm tracks which have been voiced by some of the superstars of Jamaica such as Ken Boothe, Luciano and Capleton, as well as many other reggae and hip-hop vocalists in Africa, the Caribbean and the USA, including Santa Cruz' homegrown superstar Chris Rene.
