ONE NIGHT ONLY! Bay Shore Lyric Opera's performance of Mozart’s classic opera "Cosi Fan Tutte" on the Henry Miller Library's outdoor stage!
This production is fully-staged with piano accompaniment, sung in Italian with English dialogue and will feature BSLO’s artists under the baton of Michael DiGiacinto.

Subtitled “The School for Lovers,” Cosi Fan Tutte is a probing look into romantic relationships and their endurance with temptation. It starts out with a cynical older gentleman's bet to Ferrando and Gulgielmo (two officers) that their two beautiful young fiance's can’t remain faithful to their fiance?s when they are deployed for war.

As the intrigue deepens, Ferrando and Guglielmo disguise themselves as handsome Albanian tourists and attempt to court the young women’s affections.

The couples’ feelings reveal themselves through this Mozart masterpiece and his brilliant librettist, Da Ponte. Funny, comical scenes develop and bring about a surprising final twist.
