About Community Writers Presents Santa Cruz Author Jessica Breheny

Community Writers Series of Santa Cruz County 2018 presents Santa Cruz writer Jessica Breheny. Her work has appeared in Avery Anthology, Electric Velocipede, Eleven Eleven, elimae, Fugue, LIT, Otoliths, Other Voices, and Santa Monica Review among other journals, and is forthcoming in Santa Cruz Noir (Akashic Noir Series). Her story, “The Art of Disappearing” was produced as an audio book by Audible in 2016. She is the author of the chapbooks Some Mythology (Naissance Press), and Ephemerides (Dusie Kollektiv).

Parking is behind the library, entering from Soquel Drive between the Bagelry and Sir Froggy's Pub.

Free. Donations are welcome to support the tea and crumpets and the wonderful old, library, which is funded by donations.

ABOUT OPEN MIC: If you’d like to read your original work, you can sign-up before the gathering starts. Plan to read about 5 minutes, depending on the number of sign-ups. People who did not read the previous month get to read first.
