COLLAGE: T. S. Anand & Christianna Hunnicutt

T. S. Anand & Christianna Hunnicutt will show together in this exciting exhibition of COLLAGE. Collage means glue. Collage has been around since the invention of paper.

T. S. Anand teaches for the Prison Arts Project inside the Santa Cruz Main Jail. This work has informed her most recent work of torn-paper collages using recycled magazines. Her imagery explores the topography of dreams, figures in the landscape, and our contemporary culture.

Christianna Hunnicutt, renowned for her figurative ceramic sculpture has successfully transitioned to working with the female form in the medium of collage. She uses textured papers and cutouts. Hunnicutt also creates aerial-perspective landscapes incorporating cell phone components.
