About Cognitively-Based Compassion Training

CBCT-Cognitively Based Compassion Training- is an 8- Week Series that blends Buddhist and Modern Psychology with neuroscience and Meditation techniques.

CBCT is a research, evidenced- based training developed at Emory University by Geshe Negi, PhD, with input from multiple disciplines and is taught in a variety of educational and medical settings. Anyone can learn this practice!

CBCT first couples self- nurturing practices with focused attentional meditations and then slowly adds progressive cognitive exercises that help one gather insight as to how one's attitudes and behaviors are either supporting or hindering a compassionate response to themselves and others in relation to life's ups and downs.

Come join us in this practice that helps melt the barriers to connecting deeper with self and others!
