About Coastal Cleanup Day 2018: Seabright Beach

Join the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History for the annual Coastal Cleanup -- the state's largest annual volunteer event -- where we'll clean up our neighborhood sand-spot, Seabright Beach, Saturday, September 15, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Come and go as you please for this drop-in event! Meet at the entrance to the beach across from the Museum. We will have bags, gloves, and all the other gear needed for cleaning up. Please plan to bring what you need to safely and comfortably walk on the beach for up to three hours. Closed-toed shoes, water, sunscreen, and layers are encouraged. We will provide disposable gloves, but we appreciate those who are able to bring reusable gloves. The Museum hosts Seabright Beach cleanups through Save Our Shores’ Adopt-a-Beach program.
