Kazoo Studios is the leading artist of the band Mother & The Boards, a fierce blend of folk, funk and experimental rock with undertones of blues.

Kazoo will play in a duet with Elandis V. Brooks, an outstanding horn player and a soulful improviser. Kazoo's vocal prowess is paramount to her original songs, carrying messages of action, collective power, and community engagement.

Cement Ship was launched on January 1st, 2017 in Santa Cruz, California by Tim Brady, just three weeks before the SS Palo Alto (namesake), was torn apart by heavy storm waves.

The music draws from many styles and influences from around the world, but stays grounded to its roots grown alongside the pacific ocean. Honest and soulful, from raw to sweet. It has been described as ‘Americana Soul’ and ‘Beach Folk’.
