Camila Meza Quartet

Camila Meza made an impressive splash upon her arrival in New York City in 2009. With a crystal clear singing voice and a smart, tasteful guitar sound, the Chilean native presented an impressive Pan-American vocabulary with bilingual lyrics—alternating between Spanish and English—matched with ethereal, uplifting melodies and driving rhythms. Meza embraces a multi-faceted approach that melds the diverse sounds of North and South American music into a unified vision, international in scope. Equally at home with mainstream jazz standards as well as the sounds of Brazil and Chile, she has been developing her compositional skills in recent years. Camila's fourth album, Traces, features all original material with a fresh sound that has found its way onto center stage.
