Cabrillo Youth Strings Begins Fall Semester

Registration for the Cabrillo Youth Strings Music Program is underway, with the first rehearsal on Friday, September 2.
A new entry level String Orchestra Class, 4th-6th Grade Beginning Strings for violin, viola and cello will be offered on Fridays, 4:00-5:15. Students must provide their own instruments. Auditions for Festival Strings (Beg. note-readers) and Cabrillo Strings ( Int.-Adv.) will be held on Friday, September 2, 3:45-4:15 with rehearsals on Fridays, 4:15-5:55. The Friday rehearsals for all groups will be held on consecutive Fridays for nine weeks. All rehearsals will be held at the Cabrillo College Music Building, VAPA5000. String players ages 5 to 18 are welcome to join the private lesson, chamber music and string orchestral programs.
