WEEKLY DROP-IN MEDITATION GROUP
Thursdays, 6:30-8:00 PM
JOIN US EACH WEEK for silent meditation and a Dharma talk with group discussion. Sitting with others can help support your daily meditation and inspire you to live with wisdom and compassion.
New and Experienced Welcomed!
SCHEDULE
6:30 - 7:10 PM - Meditation
7:15 - 8:00 PM - Talk and Discussion
FEE: This is offered on a “dana” basis. Dana is the Pail word for generosity.
There is a suggested sliding scale donation of $5-$15.
Donation is tax-deductible. Bloom of the Present Insight Meditation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
More or less is gratefully accepted. No one will be turned away due to lack of money. Non-monetary donations also accepted.
TEACHER: Carla Brennan is the Guiding Teacher for Bloom of the Present Insight Meditation. She has been practicing and studying meditation for 42 years in the Theravada, Zen and Tibetan traditions. She also taught Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for 18 years.
Parking is behind the building and on Bain Ave. Enter the 920 41st Ave. building through the entrance on the back parking lot side of building.
