Avery Sunshine

With her thunderous, gospel-bred pipes and heart-to-heart content, singer-songwriter Avery Sunshine is clearly building a name for herself. With an earthy tone and sincere delivery, the stage is a second home to Sunshine, ever since appointed church choir director at the age of thirteen. Her sophomore album, Sunroom, presents what she refers to as “a simple ministry” of helping people connect to each other and to themselves through music. Sunshine’s music flickers with elements of gospel, R&B and even a wisp of jazz, and she is the first to tell you her music “will make you feel good.”
