THE AMIGOS deliver foot-stomping, accordion-infused Indie-Americana music blending folk-rock, zydeco/cajun, and hot jazz. As global ambassadors for American music, the Amigos toured 6 countries and 20 states in the past year, sharing a message of ecstatic collaboration and inclusion in over 200 performances in 2014. The Amigos' debut album, "Diner in the Sky," featuring American music legend David Amram, has received significant airplay in the US and Europe, and was praised by the Wall Street Journal. The Amigos are committed to exploring the rich connections in roots music, and have performed or recorded with Jim Lauderdale, Nellie McKay, Vince Gill and The Time Jumpers, Ranger Doug (of Riders in the Sky), Pete Seeger, members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Dan Penn, Spooner Oldham, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and have opened for artists such as the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Sam Bush, Tab Benoit, and Jon Batiste.
