About Abrazo Borincano Benefit Dinner and Concert

Benefit dinner, lecture and concert for disenfranchised youth survivors of Hurricane Maria in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and to help reconstruction in the neighboring coastal city of Loiza. Come enjoy a night of Puerto Rican food and Caribbean music. All proceeds will go to the Abrazo Borincano Foundation to help youth soccer and basketball teams in the housing projects of Quintana and Manuel A. Perez in San Juan.

The evening features Guest Speaker Juan Dávila, Puerto Rico's Correspondent for Democracy Now! and a director / producer of short films for Defend Puerto Rico. A silent auction. "Rob Ramo y Caligente" will open with some Puerto Rican Hip Hop music and local reggae band "Ancestree" will close out the night.

6-7pm = Puertorican food, drinks, silent auction
7-8pm = "AfroFuturos" Short Documentary & Guest Speaker Juan Dávila from Democracy Now!
8:30-9:30pm = Music - Rob Ramo y CaliGente (Salsa & Hip Hop)
9:30-10:15 = Music - Ancestree (Reggae)
