About AAT Presents "Singin' In The Rain Jr,"
Tap your toes and sing along in this splashy adaptation of the world’s most celebrated movie musical.
All About Theatre is excited to present a youth performance of “Singing In the Rain Jr.” performed by an extremely talented cast of 10-16 year olds and directed by the one and only Matt Taylor, currently starring as the Beast in Cabrillo Stage “Beauty and the Beast”, choreographed by the incredibly talented Mandy Madoc and musically directed by the amazing Ruby Cook.
Singin' in the Rain JR. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline – the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her. Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards make Singin' in the Rain JR. a guaranteed good time for all. The talent of this young cast will astound you. This is one you won’t want to miss!
The Louden Nelson Center Theatre seats around 180 persons, so we expect to have full seats for kids in the general admission section. Tickets for supervising adults can be purchased in advance at SeatYourself.
