Widely regarded as one of the funniest farces ever written, "A Flea in Her Ear" teems with suspicious spouses, hotel liaisons, crossed wires and abundant physical comedy. Set in turn of the last century Paris, France, this bedroom farce is full of naughty fun, and every single element of farce is here in force. David Ives’ recent translation filled with mistaken identity, infidelity and betrayal makes it truly hilarious.

W. Scott Whisler, long-time actor and director is not new to the MCT Stage. He directed MCT’s 2014 restoration comedy "The Beaux’ Stratagem," and his stage appearances here include Elwood P. Dowd in "Harvey," Joe Boyd in "Damn Yankees," and King Arthur in "Monty Python’s Spamalot." Other lead roles include "The Mikado," "Talley’s Folly," "Step On A Crack," and "Jesus Christ Superstar."

The cast includes a group of dedicated performers skilled in the art of comedy including audience favorites: Frank Widman as Chandebise/Poche; Susan Forrest as Raymonde; Kathie Kratochvil as Lucienne; Rick Botelho as Don Carlos Histangua de Homenides; David Leach as Tournel; Maia Mosher Yates as Olympia; Jackson Wolffe as Ferraillon; Nik Beiden-Charles as Camille; Cassie Stipes as Antoinette; Michael LaMere as Dr. Finache; Dave Halper as Etienne; Jessica Gnau as Eugenie; Gary Edwards as Baptiste; and Ward Willats as Rugby.
