This month, downtown Felton will celebrate its first-ever First Friday art walk. From 6-9pm on Friday, Feb. 7 several shops along Highway 9 in downtown Felton will showcase work by local artists.
Outback Trading Company at 6257 Hwy. 9 will show mixed media works by Tina Masciocchi. Garimo’s Real Soap Studio & Gallery at 6225 Hwy. 9 will have stained glass by Aldina Rubion on display. And The Satellite Telework Center, at 6265 Hwy. 9, will have work by photographer Ron Lampi. “For some time now artists of all genres have been helping to make Felton a more culturally evolving scene,” says Lampi. “That there was enough art happening here in the Valley made Felton’s participation in the greater Santa Cruz art walk tradition seem inevitable.”
