GAMELAN MUSIC AND DANCE OF WEST JAVA

A gamelan is a traditional music ensemble from Indonesia composed of xylophones, drums, gongs, bamboo flutes and strings. This 34th annual concert from UCSC’s West Javanese Gamelan Ensemble features traditional and contemporary music plus guest performances by musicians and dancers.
