Medicine Buddha Festival and Cultural Fair

Have you ever been to the Medicine Buddha Festival?

Arrive early enough to join in the procession (parade), escorting the giant tangka (scroll painting) of the Medicine Buddhas up the hill to the Wish-fulfilling Temple, led by the local gamelan orchestra.
After chanting of prayers, enjoy diverse cultural offerings (performances) of music and dance from around the world.
Lunch is provided.
There are booths selling things and giving information.
A nearby area provides fun activities for kids.

IMPORTANT PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION INFO:
Please use our free parking and *shuttle buses* located at Congregational Church at Soquel Drive and Main Street, in Soquel. Shuttles running all day this year: from 9 AM – 5 PM

Offsite parking with shuttle: FREE
Onsite parking (only if very necessary) at 5800 Prescott Rd, Soquel CA 95073: $20 fee

Do not arrive for parking between 11-11:30 – ROADS WILL BE CLOSED FOR PROCESSION.

We don’t want people to be delayed and Prescott road limits how many shuttles and cars we can have traveling on it at any given time. Help keep the buses moving steadily – arrive early (recommend before 10am) and enjoy some morning snacks. Strictly NO parking on Prescott Road. Thank you for keeping our road safe.
